Medi Lift, a brand under the renowned Ya-Man Group from Japan, had already made a significant impact in its home market, where its innovative skincare technology—specifically the electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) technology—was well-recognized. However, despite its success in Japan, Medi Lift faced the challenge of launching its flagship product, the Medi Lift Essential Mask, in the U.S. market, where the brand had little recognition.
The core benefit of the Essential Mask, EMS, promised instant lifting and long-term skin benefits, but our challenge was to introduce this cutting-edge technology to an American audience unfamiliar with its potential. Our goal was to create awareness and excitement around the mask's unique, transformative capabilities, while also establishing Medi Lift as a leader in the wearable skincare technology space.
The Strategy
To introduce Medi Lift to the U.S. market, we developed a comprehensive digital strategy across multiple platforms to raise awareness and generate excitement. We started by leveraging social media to build a narrative around the brand’s innovative electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) technology. Through visually engaging content, we showcased the transformative benefits of the Medi Lift Essential Mask, highlighting its ability to provide instant results and long-term skincare benefits.
On Instagram and Facebook, we created educational content, including demo videos and customer testimonials, that allowed potential customers to see the mask in action and understand how it worked. We also ran targeted ad campaigns to reach beauty enthusiasts and skincare aficionados, driving both brand awareness and conversions.
Recognizing the power of influencer partnerships, we collaborated with beauty influencers and skincare experts who resonated with our target demographic. Their authentic endorsements helped position Medi Lift as an accessible yet innovative skincare solution.
In addition to our digital strategy, we secured high-profile PR features in leading publications such as Vogue, Nylon, and Who What Wear.
